Baby Jam - Kindermusik classes for babies aged 6 to 18 months
BABY JAM (Kindermusiks Village program) is an active awareness music class for babies aged 6 to 18 months – they experience beat, rhythm, accent, touch, specialised musical instrument play and dance, socialising with other children and quality time with their parent or caregiver. Our classes are created with the most current research on early childhood development and designed to educate you about your babies unique development. We would love you to come and sing, dance, explore and play with us each week. Even the tiniest baby will benefit and absorb the stimulation that we provide in our weekly classes. |

Class Details:
- Age Range: 6-18 months
- Class Size: Asquith maximum 9 babies
- Gordon maximum 12 babies
- Class Structure: 8 classes per term (4 terms per year)
- Length of class: 40 minutes each week
- Parent Involvement: Entire class
Term Dates for 2012
- Term 1 – 6 Feb to 31 March
- Term 2 – 30 April to 22 June
- Term 3 - 16 July to 7 September
- Term 4 - 8 October - 30 November
Fees
$170 includes 8 x 40 minute class plus a set of home materials which include CD, board book, wall banners and instrument.
Payment can be made by EFT (Jim Jam Music BSB 032-188 Acc 251755), chq or credit card via paypal.Pro-rata fees are available if joining mid-term.

Theme for Term 2
Kindermusik —Dream Pillow — This title alone brings images of rocking, cuddling, singing, and lulling to sleep. But leading up to sleepy time are many upbeat and playful activities. Babies and Adults will swirl to a dreamy cloud dance “Meet Me Tonight in Dreamland.” They’ll also play baby appropriate instruments to “Aiken Drum,” and “Sarasponda.” Favorite nursery rhymes like “Wee Willie Winkie,” and “Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling,” are sprinkled throughout the classes. It’s easy to weave many of the class songs and activities into your families’ daily routines.
Home Materials: A board book that calms and relaxes—Dream Pillow Lullaby, Home CD of the songs heard in class, a set of Art Banners for the nursery wall that strengthens vision and promotes early literacy, and a Star baby instrument for music-making at home.
