You're Invited to Play!
I simply love the company of young children. They are the masters of living in the moment, unrestricted by time or opportunity. Have you ever had one of those magic moments, when you really 'see' your child at play? I especially love watching my youngest child play with his fingers, where each finger plays a part in a grand adventure, usually involving car crashes and enemy attacks! He is completely engaged in his own game- unrestricted and unlimited joy.
Young children love to be invited to participate in activities, rather than being required to participate. In our classes we are always on the look out for invitations to play with your children, and to honour their wonderful ideas. At home, next time you are invited to play, RSVP right away! You'll have a ball!
